Government Voter Registration Project

DAS in partnership with others have been developing “in the field” biometric registration kits. These kits need to operate with limited access to electricity and connectivity for days, so efficiency is of the highest priority. We have integrated “on device” forms processing to speed up the voter engagement time.

This reduces the overall engagement time by up to 35%. This has a massive implication on the costs and duration of the project. It also provides as paper backup of the information that can be (at anytime in the future) captured and compared against the existing dataset. It also provides insurance, in the event of a catastrophe.
